Coast Guard medevacs 1 near Barnegat Light, NJ
BARNEGAT LIGHT, N.J. The Coast Guard medevaced a 32-year-old man from the 78-foot fishing boat he
was aboard 60 miles east of here Saturday.

Medevaced was Jeremy Rochelle, 32.

The Coast Guard received a call at 2:23 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the Tamara Alane, homeported
in North Carolina, reporting Rochelle was possibly suffering from a ruptured hernia.

A 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew from Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light arrived on scene and transported Rochelle back to the station to be transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
